Senior Care Staff

Sue Wilson, CPA
Administrator

Sue oversees operations of Christian Care Senior Care. Sue works with the Board of Directors to set goals and objectives for the facility, then with the management team of the Senior Care works to ensure they meet Federal and State requirements, comply with budgets and provide the best care to residents and families. 
Sue has worked with older adults for over 25 years including 7 years as Program and Operations Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association. She continues to serve the Alzheimer’s Association as an Educational Program Volunteer. As Administrator, Sue oversees care staff, provides ongoing training for all Senior Care staff, develops facility policies and procedures, and creates our Family and Staff newsletters. Sue is the creator of “Dementia Bootcamp”, a five-part staff education series that she presents to Christian Care staff and those at other long-term care facilities in the area. Sue is a Certified Dementia Practitioner with the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.

 
     
Linda Ferguson, BA
Activities Director

Linda has been with Christian Care for over 14 years. She has 30 years of experience working with adult and geriatric populations. Linda develops and schedules resident activities, acts as a liaison between families, residents and the community and writes the monthly resident newsletter. Linda has completed graduate work in counseling with a geriatrics concentration.

 
     
Michele Woodring, BAA
Marketing and Admissions

Michele has been with Christian Care since 2005. She holds a marketing degree from Central Michigan University. Michele is responsible for promoting Christian Care in the community, hosting building tours, coordinating family and community education seminars, and admissions in both the Senior Care and Nursing Care facilities. Michele serves on the Board of Directors for the Senior Marketing Group of Greater Muskegon.

 
     
Pam Mohrhardt, LPN
Director of Clinial Services

Pam comes to Christian Care with over 35 years experience working in health care. She has a clear passion for our aging population. She is a lifetime resident of West Michigan and is active in her community.  Pam oversees the Clinical Services and Resident Care for the Senior Care building.  

 
     
Chris Looman
Administrative Assistant

Chris provides clerical support for the daily operations, greets and directs visitors within the Senior Care building. Chris is in charge of the Resident Trust Funds, collecting monthly rent, oversees facility files and receipts.

 
     
Marlene A. Herzhaft
Dietary Director

Marlene has served Christian Care for 18 years. Marlene is responsible for maintaining established dietary standards for the Senior Care facility. She is a member of the Dietary Managers Association and is Serve Safe Certified by the State of Michigan. Marlene plans menus, supervises the preparation and serving of meals and manages resident food preferences.

Director of Maintenance

Brian oversees and maintains the interior, exterior and mechanical components of the Senior Care building.
   
     
     
     
Melissa Hendricks
Neighborhood Director - 1st Floor

Neighborhood Directors coordinate resident care with the Director of Clinical Care, pass medications, monitor resident safety and ensure their needs continue to be met in the assisted living environment. Neighborhood Directors serve as a liaison between families, community care partners and residents.
